Congratulations to Professor Miloš Hrnjaz on His Appointment as Vice Dean
The New South Institute is proud to congratulate Professor Miloš Hrnjaz, our research affiliate, on his recent appointment as Vice Dean for Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade.
Professor Hrnjaz is an Associate Professor of International Law at the same university, where he teaches Public International Law, Use of Force in International Law, and International Humanitarian Law. He earned his PhD in 2016 with a dissertation on international customary law and has focused his latest research on armed conflicts in Yugoslavia.
He has held research fellowships at the Geneva Academy of IHL and Human Rights, American University – Washington College of Law, and Leiden University. His professional background also includes serving as Personal Assistant to the Chief Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the Belgrade International Law Circle.
Professor Hrnjaz’s extensive expertise and experience make him an invaluable asset to the faculty. We wish him every success in this new role.
