Delani Majola is trained as a journalist from the Durban University of Technology and the Tshwane University of Technology. His career began in print as a freelance writer at a local newspaper before branching off to online helping to establish a campus publication where he served as a section editor. In broadcast, radio, he served at the radio station Eastwave 92.2 FM. For the past eight years, Delani took up the role of Communications Manager at the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, where he contributed immensely to positioning the brand.
With over nine years of work experience in media, communications, and stakeholder engagement, where these roles and duties require innovative thinking and rapid changes, he is excited to have taken the exciting position of Media Liaison Officer at the New South Institute.
