In June 2020, the NSI (then GAPP) book club hosted the project “Filling the (reading) GAPP: Voices from the Periphery”, which brought together academics from the global south to read and discuss three books. All three sessions were recorded and shared on our YouTube channel. The second meeting was entitled “The Non-Aligned Movement at 60: lessons learned and the way forward” and was based on a reading of the book “The Darker Nations: A People’s History of the Third World“, published in 2007 by Vijay Prashad and edited by The New Press.
