The Public Service Amendment Bill and Public Administration Management Bill, currently before the National Council of Provinces, present a pivotal opportunity to strengthen governance, enhance institutional capacity, and improve accountability. However, translating policy into action requires not only well-crafted legislation but also effective implementation and oversight.
