Zvomuya has reported for international media outlets including the BBC, Thomson Reuters, Farmer’s Weekly, The Daily News, and Mongabay. His journalism has covered a wide spectrum of themes across African contexts—ranging from political transitions and conflict in Mozambique and the DRC, to land rights issues in Zimbabwe and public policy debates in South Africa. He has also worked across environmental reporting and social justice.

He holds a postgraduate qualification in Journalism from the Università Telematica Internazionale UniNettuno in Italy, and brings additional capabilities in multilingual engagement and strategic communications.

The Journalist-in-Residence Fellowship at NSI is a competitive initiative that received over one hundred applications. Fidelis Zvomuya joins the Institute as part of a broader effort to deepen NSI’s research communications and expand its engagement across the New South.
