NSI’s new podcast series launches

The New South Institute (NSI) has launched Governing Tomorrow, a new podcast series making public service reform and institution-building part of everyday conversation. Hosted by Yoliswa Makhasi, Head of Public Sector Reform at the NSI, the series brings together policymakers, practitioners, and reformers, both inside and outside government, for honest, insightful dialogue on fixing the state.

We’re interested in the lived experience of people who’ve worked in the system, and in fresh ideas on how to improve it. This podcast is about making reform relevant, grounded, and part of public life.

Governing Tomorrow is a space for open reflection and serious thinking about how to build a capable, inclusive, and democratic state.
