The New South Institute (NSI) has published an accountability report detailing the use and impact of an £85,000 grant generously provided by the This Day Foundation in October 2023. This grant aimed to enhance public policy capacity in Parliament and establish a leadership programme for MPs and portfolio chairs.

Recent achievements include a finalized Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Parliament, the development of two policy briefs on public service reforms, and a notable presentation on police reform at Parliament’s library. Furthermore, we are in collaboration with the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS Business School) to develop a leadership curriculum tailored for MPs and portfolio chairs.
