The New South Institute is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Specialist to join its Public Service Reform programme.

This role focuses on the HR governance and professionalisation dimensions of reform. It is suited to a senior practitioner who can help translate legislative and policy reform into practical HR systems, governance frameworks, and implementation tools, with particular attention to recruitment, appointments, discipline, promotions, and merit-based processes. 

This is a full-time, 12-month contract. Applicants should have substantial experience in public sector HR management, ideally including senior-level experience in government or public institutions.
